On Friday 12th April they are proudly presenting, ‘The Magic of Motown’. I’ve read some reviews about this show and ‘spellbinding’, ‘out of this World’ and ‘not to be missed’ were just a few of the comments made.
I can well believe this for if its anything like ‘Dancing in the Street’ that I seen a few years ago, then to coin a phrase by the Jackson 5, ‘I’ll be there’. I was totally overwhelmed and blown away by the ‘Dancing in the Street’ production, so much so, I needed a drink after the show, just to bring me back down to Earth. That night, Edwin Starr (sadly no longer with us) led the show, supported by The Pasadena’s alongside lovely talented female backing singers.
The Magic of Motown brings together a medley of 36 back to back hits from stars such as Diana Ross, Stevie Wonder, Four Tops, Temptations, Marvin Gaye and many more.
